The slightest misinterpretation of a blueprint can have serious effects on the overall project. Blueprints have each and every stage of a project from conception to completion of the final product. When a misinterpretation occurs, there can be costly replacing and massive delays. When the interpretation of a blueprint is done correctly a project will stay on its planned crouse without any additional surprise costs along the way.

What is covered in the Blueprint Reading Professional Program

Students enrolled in the Construction Blueprint Reading Professional Program will understand how to read and identify the scale of the blueprint. Students will also learn how to interpret the foundation, framing, electrical, plumbing and exterior pages and sections in a blueprint plan. Students learn the interpretation of lines, symbols, abbreviations, grinders and column locations and more. The topics covered in this program will give students the skills and knowledge to achieve success in their careers in construction.
